The session

A constraints-led build of active attacker tactics, run in hallway and room space. Role players wearing colored pennies (suspect, officer, innocent, unknown) stage at varying depths in rooms off a hallway while solo officers work the hall. Early repetitions hold officers close to or far from doorways so they feel distance and angle; the restrictions then come off, and officers self-organize toward the serpentine pattern. Room entries run under spacing constraints rather than scripted assignments. The trade: less explicit instruction, more active engagement per training hour.
