The session

A mat session that organizes control tactics training around problem spaces rather than prescribed technique progressions, using the 3Ms model: maintaining control, modifying control, and making control. Participants work in groups of four (two officers, one subject, one safety officer) through three rounds, one per problem space. Each round runs the same cycle: minimum instruction, hands-on exposure with no directed solutions, discussion of what broke down and why, then re-engagement.
