The session

Most counter-edged-weapon systems teach scripted slash-and-block sequences and choreographed disarms that collapse under live pressure. This mat session, with the whole room working in pairs, integrates weapon management into existing standing grappling and hand-fighting frameworks instead of isolating it. A live, unscripted knife enters the clinch, and the defender manages control, weapon suppression, and the transition to cuffing at once, under a strict safety commitment. Attendees leave with a scalable framework for introducing live decision-making and variable complexity into an agency defensive tactics program.
